Pyongyang, December 4 (KCNA) -- "Pyongyang Raengmyon (cold noodles) Custom" of the DPRK has been registered as a representative intangible cultural heritage of mankind.
The registration was made at the 17th Session of the Intergovernmental Committee for the Safeguarding of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of the UNESCO held in Rabat of Morocco on Nov. 30.
Through the registration, the time-honored history and tradition of the Korean nation, which has been creditably inherited and developed with each passing day, came to be well-known to the world. -0-
