Brief history and contribution of the great leader of the Korean people Comrade KIM JONG IL to mark the 11th anniversary of his sad demise:
1942. Feb.16 -Born at Mt. Paektu Secret Camp in a Nationalist Revolutionary family of father KIM IL SUNG and anti-Japanese Heroine Mother KIM JONG SUK.
1950-1960 - Received Primary and secondary courses in Pyongyang, DPR Korea
1960-1964 -Higher Education Course in KIM IL SUNG University, DPR Korea
July 22, 1961 - Member of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK)
1961-1964 Officer in-Charges, Section Chief, Deputy Director, and Director of the Central Committee of the WPK
June 19, 1964 Started work in the Central Committee of the WPK
October 1972 Elected as a Member of the Party Central Committee at the 5th Plenary Meeting of the 5th Party Central Committee
September 1973 Elected as the Secretary of the Party Central Committee at the 7th Plenary Meeting of the 5th Party Central Committee
February 1974 Elected as a member of the Political Committee of the Party Central Committee of the Party and as the Successor to the Great Leader Comrade KIM IL SUNG
October 1980 Elected as a Member of the Secretary of the Party Central Committee and a Member of the Central Military Commission of the Party Central Committee at the 6th Congress of the WPK of the Political Bureau of the Party Central Committee .
1982-2002 Elected as a Deputy to the 7th, 8th, 9th, 10th and 11th Supreme People's Assembly.
May, 1990 Elected as the First Vice-Chairman of the National Defense Commission at the 5th session of the 9th Supreme People's Assembly
24 December 1991 Elected as Supreme Commander of the Korean People's Army of the DPR of Korea
20 April, 1992 Elected as the Marshal of the DPR of Korea
09 April, 1993 Elected as Chairman of the National Defense Commission at the 5th Session of the 9th Supreme People's Assembly
08 October 1997 Elected as the General Secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea
September 1998 Re-elected as Chairman of the National Defense Commission of the DPRK at the 1st session of the 10th Supreme People's Assembly and the 1st session of the 11th Supreme People's Assembly
17 December 2011 Untimely demise while returning back from the on-the-spot guidance of the factory, production site in a remote area of the DPRK.

-October 09, 2006, the First Nuclear Test in the DPRK
-May 25, 2009, Second Nuclear Test in the DPRK
-June 15, 2000, North-south Summit in Pyongyang between Leaders KIM JONG IL and South Korean President Kim Dae-Jung, and starting of the June 15 Era of Reunification followed by inter Korean Summits and joint declarations, and Second North-south Summit meeting on October 07, 2007.
Historical Decision made by Leader KIM JONG IL:
It is the greatness of leader KIM JONG IL that he took the following decisions after the sad demise of President KIM IL SUNG:
-Leader KIM IL SUNG will be the eternal President of the DPRK,
-Juche Era will be implemented from the beginning of the birth year of President KIM IL SUNG 1912 as Juche 01,
-April 15, the birth day of President KIM IL SUNG will be marked as the Day of the Sun, (Sun's Day) offering the highest respect to the Eternal President and great leader Comrade KIM IL SUNG.
Greatest Contribution:
The greatest contribution of Leader KIM JONG IL is to handover the DPR of Korea, which he received from President KIM IL SUNG to the true Successor of the Korean revolution His Excellency Marshal KIM JONG UN, the Supreme Leader of the W.P.K., Armed Forces and the Korean people, raising it is still strong, self-reliant Songun Korea. Best wishes to Marshal KIM JONG UN for achieving fresh success in achieving independent and peaceful reunification of Korea and to build a thriling socialist nation on the way to KIMILSUNGISM-KIMJONGILISM.
This is the time to remember the CNN Report broadcasted on the occasion of the 50th Founding Anniversary of DPR Korea: -"The political system of this country is quite unique. In this country, the leader and the people are closely united. This is the source of the power of North Korea. All the North Koreans young and old are determined to become human bombs in defense of Leader KIM JONG IL. Frankly speaking, the West fears North Korea because of this and does not dare to attack it though they have the nuclear weapons".
The world is well aware of the fact of the single-hearted unity of Korea. The national strength itself is the iron-like unity of the people, party, and army. This unity is the lifeline of Korean socialism and an all-time weapon of army-first Songun politics.
Comrade KIM JONG IL's more than four decades-long leadership is memorable among the entire Korean people and the progressive people of the world because he gave importance to Comradeship and believed in the politics of Love and trust which was the weapon of his victory. Leader KIM JONG IL used to say-"People are teachers and creators of all things. If there is an almighty being in the world, it is none other than the people. Therefore, the leader and the party should serve the people and the leader learns the wisdom, leadership, ability, and virtue from the people."
Leader KIM JONG IL will be in the hearts of the progressive peace loving people of the world for his immortal contributions in developing self-reliance economy, army-first policy, thriling national strength, independent politics and building Workers' Party of Korea in to the Party of KIM IL SUNG and developing rod-map on the way to KIMILISUNGISM!
