The Association For the Study of Songun Politics UK (ASSPUK) , the British Group for the Study of the Juche Idea (BGSJI), the Korean Friendship Association of UK ( KFA UK) ,and the British Solidarity Committee for Peace and Reunification in Korea (BSCPRKP) issued a joint statement hailing the great victory of People's Korea in the war against Covid 19 ;
At the National Meeting of Reviewing the Emergency Anti-Epidemic Work held on August 10th in the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK ) in a speech titled "Let Us Guarantee More Reliably the Safety of the State and People by Following Up the Successes We Have Achieved in the Anti-Epidemic War' , respected Marshal KIM JONG UN declared that " The anti-epidemic war, which has been so arduous, is over and today we proclaim our victory in it."
Covid 19 has been eliminated in the DPRK 100 days after it broke out and 91 days after the DPRK switched over to a top-level emergency anti-epidemic system. The fatality rate from Covid 19 in the DPRK was very low , probably the lowest in the world. This was a great and miraculous victory that only People's Korea, guided by the great Juche Idea and led by the Workers Party of Korea and respected Marshal KIM JONG UN , could achieve . To put things into context so -called advanced countries like Britain , US and Japan after over 2 years are still reporting Covid 19 cases . South Korea recorded 128,000 new cases and 58 deaths from Covid 19 in the past day with over 21 million people in total infected with Covid 19.
The DPRK 's victory over Covid 19 was achieved through self-reliance and without outside help . The DPRK correctly rejected the fake 'humanitarian aid ' of imperialism and vaccines of the big capitalist pharameutical monopolies of the imperialist world who seek only profit . The DPRK 's victory was also due to the fact that the Workers' Party of Korea and people's government took measures so quickly and resolutely . In the Western world some governments failed to act quickly against Covid 19 .
As respected Marshal KIM JONG UN wisely pointed out "In other words, the invaluable victory we have achieved is the victory of our Party's anti-epidemic policy, the victory of our state's crisis management strategy, the victory of our people's fortitude and single-hearted unity unique to them, the great victory brought about by the superiority of our style of socialist system." . This is indeed true . The victory against Covid 19 in People's Korea is due to the single-hearted unity of the people around the Party and the leader and the superiority of the socialist system .
Moreover the total superiority of the Juche-based people-centred socialism has been proved by the DPRK's victory over Covid 19. Juche -based socialism is infinitely superior to the decadent , corrupt capitalist system in south Korea and the system in the so-called ' free ' and 'democratic ' countries of the capitalist world .
We salute the victory of People's Korea in the anti-epidemic war and believe it to be a great example for the world .

Long live Juche -based socialism !
Long live self-reliance !
