Why Does It Hope to See the Continuation of the Ukrainian Crisis?

As the United Sates and the West get more undisguised in their moves to give military aids to Ukraine, the first deputy chief of the general staff of the Russian armed forces has recently held a press conference concerning the special military operation.

He said at the conference that since the launch of the special military operation, the West has delivered to Kiev regime 109 pieces of field guns, more than 3 800 anti-tank weapons including “Javelin” and 897 portable ground-to-air missile complexes. He pointed out that the arms delivery to Kiev by the West is a big mistake which is only drawing out the conflict and increasing the number of casualties.

He continued to say that the real purpose of the arms delivery is not to support Ukraine, but to drag this country into a prolonged military conflict until there remains one last Ukrainian. He also said that Russia is closely following the statements made by the Western countries on delivering fighters and anti-aircraft system to Ukraine, and warned that Russia will never sit idle if such statements are put into effect.

Even before the Ukrainian Crisis broke out, the U.S. and the West, setting afloat the theory of “Russia’s invasion”, incited Ukraine to a military conflict with Russia by dispatching military advisers to Kiev and delivering modern weapons to it.

At the summit meetings of NATO, the EU and G7 held in Brussels in the mid-February, the U.S. and the West made no secret of their intentions to continuously scale up delivery of arms to Ukraine, talking about joint countermeasures against Russian “aggression”.

Recently, it has been made public to media that the U.S. has been discussing the issue of delivering the Western weapons to Ukraine by making regular contacts with the Ukrainian military personnel and that the UK government is trying to deliver “AS-90” self-propelled gun with great killing power.

The international media are unanimous in commenting that the real intention of the U.S. and the West that are backing up Ukraine militarily is to remove Russia, an obstacle to the realization of their hegemonic policy by deeply dragging it into the prolonged war, isolating it politically and diplomatically, and wearing and weakening it militarily and economically.

The media are also raising the voice of criticism that the U.S. never wants to see the end of this war, and is trying to eat the “bread” kneaded with the people’s blood in the course of conflicts between Russia and Ukraine.

The increased delivery of arms by the U.S. and the West wreak havoc on the peace and stability in the region. This will provoke a backlash from Russia. It is natural for the U.S. and the West to pay dearly for it.
