Pyongyang, April 22 (KCNA) -- Kim Jong Un, general secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK) and president of the State Affairs of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK), sent a congratulatory message to Miguel Mario Diaz-Canel Bermudez, first secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba and president of the Republic of Cuba, on April 20.
The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un in the message offered sincere comradely greetings and warm congratulations to the first secretary on his birthday.
Expressing pleasure over the fact that the Communist Party of Cuba has firmly defended the gains of socialism and waged a bold struggle for implementing the decisions of its 8th Congress, while smashing the heinous anti-Cuba moves of the hostile forces by firmly rallying all the Cuban people under the energetic leadership of the first secretary, the message extended full support and solidarity to it.
The message noted that it is the unshakable will of the WPK and the people of the DPRK to further develop the friendly and cooperative relations between the two parties and the two peoples, firmly forged in the struggle for accomplishing the cause of anti-imperialist independence and the cause of socialism, true to the spirit of the agreement made at the summit in Pyongyang in November 2018.
Heartily wishing the first secretary bigger success in his responsible and noble work of leading the party, state and people, the message sincerely hoped that he and all his family members would enjoy good health and happiness. -0-
