ASSPUK, BGSJI , KFA UK and BSCPRKP support DPRK FM statement on human rights .

 The Association for the Study of Songun Politics(ASSPUK) , the British  Group for the Study of  Juche Idea (BGSJI), the UK Korean Friendship Association(UK KFA) and British Solidarity Committee for Peace and Reunification on the Korean Peninsula (BSCPRKP) issued a joint statement declaring support for the press statement of the Foreign Ministry (FM )of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK ) made on the 3rd of April ;

 On April 1, a so-called "human rights resolution" against the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK) was railroaded through the 49th Session of the United Nations Human Rights Council (UNHRC). This so-called resolution was the product of the conspiracy of the US imperialists against Juche-based socialism in the  DPRK . The resolution reeked of both high-handedness ,hypocrisy and double standards .

 The US and Western countries such as the UK which instigated the resolution are some of the worst violators of human rights . There is an old saying that charity should begin at home . Human rights should also begin at home . The Western capitalist countries  all suffer from poverty and inequality , racism ,discrimination and high rates of crime including violent crimes which take lives . Recently in the UK a young boy fainted from hunger in a foodbank , why doesn't the UNHRC investigate this ? . Why doesn't the UNHRC investigate human rights abuses by the south Korean puppet regime or indeed other client states of the US ?.

As everyone knows the UNHRC is a puppet of US imperialism and serves the interests of the US.

The  'resolution ' is an affront to the national sovereignty and independence of the DPRK . As the DPRK FM statement says 'Human rights are national sovereignty.'

Our organisations believe it is time for the US , UK and others to finally end their anti-DPRK 'human rights ' campaign which is based on lies and it is a weapon of demonisation  of People's Korea and a lever for the ovethrow of the socialist system .

We support the will of the DPRK to defend its socialist system the cradle of happiness for the people .
