Pyongyang, March 9 (KCNA) -- Kim Jong Un, president of the State Affairs of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, sent a message of greeting to Bashar Al-Assad, president of the Syrian Arab Republic, on Tuesday.
The message extended warm congratulations to the Syrian president and people on the 59th anniversary of the March 8 Revolution in Syria.
It said the Korean people are very rejoiced over the fact that the Syrian people have achieved many successes in the struggle for achieving peace and development of the country despite all sorts of the hostile forces' obstructive moves for more than half a century after the March 8 Revolution.
The message extended firm support and solidarity once again to the just cause of the Syrian people for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the country. -0-
