KFA UK slams So-Called Joint Statement of UK , France and Germany on the DPRK Missile Test

The Korean Friendship Association of the UK issued the following statement in response to the so-called  Joint statement by the governments of the UK, France and Germany about the recent missile tests by the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea;

Once again the UK is acting as a poodle or lackey of the US and issuing statements along with Germany and France (  against People's Korea .

The  statement of the UK , Germany and France  is gross interference in the DPRK's internal affairs . The DPRK has a legitimate and sovereign right to self-defence , this is even enshrined in the UN Charter . No one has the right to interfere in it .

  The DPRK ‘s missile tests were carried out on its own soil and did not threaten neighbouring countries .

  As to the call for the DPRK to abide by UNSC resolutions , these are illegal and the DPRK has never ever accepted them .

 It is up to the DPRK whether it engages in dialogue with the US . The DPRK is quite right to reject dialogue with the US because it proved to be a waste of time in the past . Moreover the US offer of dialogue is really aimed at achieving regime change and dismantling the socialist system by stealth .

  Really the British government ought to be addressing problems nearer to home of which there are many , rather than trying to tell the DPRK what to do.

Instead of joining hands with the US and EU and NATO member states , Britain would be better off lifting the sanctions against the DPRK and developing a mutually beneficial relationship with the DPRK .
