Intolerable Infringement upon Dignity and Sovereignty of a Sovereign State

 2022.2.1.

Japan persists, once again, in picking on the DPRK over the exercise of its legitimate and righteous sovereign right.

The DPRK’s recent missile test-fires are a part of activities for bolstering national defensive power, thus they were not aimed at a specific country nor did they inflict any harm on neighboring countries.

Building up the national defensive power is a just and legitimate right of a sovereign state.

However, Japanese authorities let loose reckless remarks that they “strongly condemn” and they “cannot tolerate”, insisting that the test-launch of ballistic missile by the DPRK is a “violation of the UNSC resolution”, and that it causes a “threat to peace and security of Japan and the region.”

That the Japanese authority took issue with the test-fire of our missile is immediately an infringement upon dignity and sovereignty of our state, and this constitutes unwarranted interference in the internal affairs of a sovereign state.

Japan, a criminal state, is misleading public opinion at home and abroad while fastening on the exercise of our sovereign power as a “threat”. Its purpose is crystal clear.

That is aimed at legitimizing their unlawful acts to make a war-impossible criminal state into a “war-possible normal state” and to make the “Self-Defense Forces” for “total defense” into an offensive army, by publicizing a false rumor that our country and other neighboring countries threaten their security.

The main culprit undermining peace and stability of the region and deliberately aggravating the situation is none other than Japan.

Japan should immediately stop all hostile acts that unreasonably find fault with the legitimate exercise of our sovereignty as a threat and infringe upon the dignity and sovereignty of our state.
