The U.S. is boasting of “material civilization” and “public welfare”. But absolute majority of Americans are leading miserable lives, unable to enjoy even the basic right to existence.

On September 8, the CNBC cited findings of a company to report that 48% of the people living in rented houses are highly unlikely to buy their own house. In particular, the households in the age group of 41-45 are in a growing sense of unease and ever more concerned.

Prices of houses and basic daily necessities keep skyrocketing whereas income of consumers keeps decreasing, owing to the worsening pandemic crisis. Thus, living standards of the working masses are falling down below the poverty line.

The Census Bureau of the U.S. recently issued a report that the income rate of the middle class Americans decreased by 2.9% in 2020 compared with the previous year.

The income rate of middle class Asian-Americans, among others, decreased by 4.5 % compared with previous year. This is lower than that of the white, the black and the Spanish Americans by 2.6%, 0.3% and 2.6% respectively, a record high in the decrease of incomes rates among races.

The labor force also decreased by 13,700,000, which is the biggest number of job losses since 1967, when the Census Bureau started publishing reports.

The above facts speak volumes about the miserable human rights plight of the U.S. society, where the working masses forming the absolute majority are struggling below the poverty line, unable to enjoy even the basic right to existence, while a handful of rich people are living extravagant and perverted live
