Campaign for peace against the US in Daejeon   Some days ago, the civil organizations in Daejeon launched a September campaign for peace against the US. The US forces has intervened in internal affairs of south Korea and put a brake on every try for mending inter-Korean ties, the civil organizations including the Headquarters of Daejeon for Implementing the June 15 Joint Declaration asserted. South Koreans should win back their sovereignty from the US for peace and unification of the Korean Peninsula. They carried placards “US troops, leave south Korea” and “Environmental pollution in the US bases!” The campaign which was begun from Feb amid public interests is launched on fourth Saturday afternoon every month.  The October campaign for peace against the US is scheduled to be launched on Oct. 23.
