The historic Third Plenary Meeting of the Eighth Central Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea(WPK) held under the personal guidance of respected Comrade Kim Jong Un took up the issue of improving and reinforcing Party’s childcare policy and unanimously adopted relevant resolution.

Improving and reinforcing the Party’s childcare policy – this is the step to be taken only by our Party, the Workers’ Party of Korea, which is adding more affection to children under worsening condition and staunchly advancing towards the future of communism with the power of love, taking it as its style of advancing and developing our revolution.

At the Plenary Meeting, respected Comrade Kim Jong Un ardently said that all officials should pay special attention to better feeding the children of nurseries and kindergartens, keeping in mind that they are real parents of those children and thus prove their loyalty to the Party, the revolution, the motherland and the people through tangible contribution to implementing the Party’s childcare policy.

This is indeed a great picture of the noble love for posterity and future that could only be unfolded by the genuine country for people, our Party and state.

Now in the capitalist countries, mental and moral degeneration of society has reached extremes due to the ceaseless commitment of grave violations of human rights such as child labour and human trafficking, and forced detention and killing of young refugees and indigenous children.

Maltreatment of children in Japan has long taken shape of chronic social malaise, the number of maltreated children in the country reportedly reaching over 106, 900 in the year 2020 alone.

In one other capitalist country, around 10, 000~20, 000 children fall victim to sexual violence or human trafficking every year while another 30, 000~50, 000 are managing their miserable life, suffering from all sorts of ill-treatment and exploitation.

However, the Western politicians, far from stamping out the practices of violating children’s rights, are dodging the misfortune and misery of children by deceiving the public with crocodile-tear statement such as “deeply concerned”, “expressing sadness” and, etc.

Such anti-popular character of the capitalist system serves rather to increase our people’s attachment to the people-centered socialism of our own style.

Posterity constitute the people of future, the country of future.

No revolutionary task is more important than the upbringing of children – future of the country – so as to be strong and sound, and it is the most important policy and long-cherished desire of our Party and state to ensure more improved upbringing conditions at any price.

Our children will grow up healthily to be the pillars of the country under the noble love of our motherly Party, and after 20 or 30 years, our society will overflow with more vibrant life and vitality and the national power of our country will grow significantly stronger.
