The British Group for the Study of the Juche Idea and the Association for the Study of Songun Politics UK published the following joint statement concerning the repressive actions of the Japanese authorities towards the International Institute of the Juche Idea and Juche idea followers in Japan ;
The British Group for the Study of the Juche Idea and the Association for the Study of Songun Politics UK shocked and appalled to learn of the state repression meted to the International Institute of the Juche Idea and to Juche Idea Study Groups in Japan .
Apparently the secretary general of the Tokyo based International Institute of the Juche Idea was arrested on two occasions but released . Offices of Juche idea study organisations were searched and more than 1.000 documents taken away .
This shows how the reactionary authorities in Japan fear the spread of the Juche idea and try to prevent it spreading by force . The Japanese state is oppressing Juche idea followers.
We condemn the Japanese authorities for their reactionary and repressive actions and express our solidarity with the IIJI and Juche idea follower in Japan.
