The Eighth Congress of the Workers' Party of Korea was grandly held in the capital Pyongyang between January 5 and 12, Juche 110(2021).
In the days of the Congress significantly recorded in the history of the Party, all the people were greatly impressed by the pledge the respected Kim Jong Un, General Secretary of the WPK, made at the Party Congress.
Kim Jong Un said: Fully aware of the sacred mission that I am representing and in charge of the great Kimilsungist-Kimjongilist Party, I solemnly pledge that I will make every effort to implement the fighting programmes put forth by the Party Congress and, regarding our great people as the God of my life, work at the risk of my life as a faithful servant of the people on the road of devoted service for them.
It was the solemn pledge repulsing with his motto of believing in the people as in heaven and carrying his resolute will to devote his all to the people.
In every phrase of his words, the Korean people felt his will and affection for the people and pictured to themselves the future of the country to be changed under his guidance.
The people made a hearty pledge to go to the end of the earth, following the respected Kim Jong Un, and greet the bright future of victory of socialism only under his leadership.
