The Association For the Study of Songun Politics UK (ASSPUK),the British Group for the Study of the Juche Idea(BGSJI, the UK Korean Friendship Association(UK KFA) and British Solidarity Committee for Peace and Reunification (BSCPRKP) issued a joint statement in support the statement issued on Tuesday 8th of December by comrade Kim Yo Jong , First Vice Department Director Kim Yo Jong of WPK Central Committee;
Recently , the south Korean 'foreign minister ' whilst on a tour of the middle east , impudently defamed the emergency anti-epidemic measures of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) . The remarks of the south Korean 'foreign minister' are ridiculous because the DPRK has ZERO Covid 19 cases whilst in south Korea the number of cases has now reached 39,000 and is rising rapidly . In fact the DPRK is the model country for Covid 19 prevention and an example for other countries to follow. The remarks of the south Korean 'foreign minister 'if they were so mean and dirty would be enough to make a cat laugh.
What the impudent remarks of the south Korean 'foreign minister ' show is the deep hostility of the south Korean rulers to the people-centred socialist system in the DPRK and a desire to slander and defame it without scruple , even to overthrow it.
As comrade Kim Yo Jong states these kind of remarks and attitude will further impair inter-Korean relations which are already in a poor state , basically frozen . As comrade Kim Yo Jong warns 'We will never forget her words and she might have to pay dearly for it. '
Our organisations support and applaud the statement of comrade Kim Yo Jong . We demand that the south Korean regime stops slandering the socialist system of People's Korea , stops speaking ill of the brilliant and decisive measures taken by People's Korea against Covid 19 and belatedly improves inter-Korean relations .
