The Association For the Study of Songun Politics UK (ASSPUK) and the British Group for the Study of the Juche Idea(BGSJI) issued the following joint statement about the 45th anniversary of the Three Revolution Red Flag Movement :
Today it is 45 years since comrade KIM JONG IL started the Three Revolution Red Flag Movement , a development of the Chollima movement , in order to put into practice the line of the three revolutions in ideology , technology and culture which had been put forward by President KIM IL SUNG as the strategic line in building socialism in Juche Korea .
The Three Revolution Red Flag Movement aimed to not only increase production and make innovations but to sweep away everything backward and reactionary in all spheres of society and life such as ideology , culture and technology.Indeed the line of the three revolutions was (and is ) the most correct line in building socialism . Other socialist countries failed to carry out the ideological revolution , as a result capitalism was restored in those countries.The Three Revolution Red Flag movement serves as example of successful construction.
With the initiation of the Three Revolution Red Flag Movement a great leap forward took place in the building of socialism in Juche Korea . Great achievements were made in the realms of ideology , technology and culture .
Respected Marshal KIM JONG UN has stressed the need to carry forward the Three Revolution Red Flag Movement in the 21st Century . In the work "Let Us Bring about a Fundamental Turn in the Three-Revolution Red Flag Movement in Line with the Demands of the Developing Revolution" published five years ago he pointed out that " The Three-Revolution Red Flag Movement is a militant task that the great Comrade Kim Jong Il, General Secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea, entrusted to Party organizations out of his trust in them."
We salute the 45th anniversary of the Three Revolution Red Flag Movement believing that it will lead to even greater success .
