Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un Sends Reply Message to President Xi Jinping

 Pyongyang, September 16 (KCNA) -- Kim Jong Un, chairman of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK) and chairman of the State Affairs Commission of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK), sent a reply message to Xi Jinping, general secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and president of the People's Republic of China (PRC), on Sept. 14.


Kim Jong Un in his message expressed heartfelt thanks on behalf of the WPK and the government and all the people of the DPRK and on his own behalf to the general secretary for extending warm congratulations and best wishes on the occasion of the 72nd founding anniversary of the DPRK.


The message noted that invariable support and encouragement from the general secretary and the Chinese party, government and people serve as great strength and encouragement to the Party, government and people of the DPRK waging a dynamic struggle for successfully greeting the 75th founding anniversary of the WPK and its 8th Congress.


Kim Jong Un said in the message that he is pleased with the great strategic success achieved by the Chinese people in combating the novel coronavirus infectious disease under the direction of the CPC with the general secretary as its core, expressing belief that the Chinese people would more dynamically accelerate the building of socialism with the Chinese characteristics in the new era and thus achieve the great prosperity of the Chinese nation.


Kim Jong Un expressed his will to do his best to develop, together with the general secretary, the DPRK-China friendship, valuable wealth and strategic choice of the two parties and the peoples of the two countries, into a fresh high stage in the joint struggle for defending and glorifying socialism.


He sincerely wished the general secretary good health and happiness. -0-
