House is a cradle of life and happiness to the human beings. Everybody wants to live happily in his or her own houses.
But the price of houses is soaring in many countries and a lot of people are living in rented houses.
Last year in the United States the price jumped up 3.9 percent in the first quarter as against the same period of the previous year and in Spain 4.7 percent in the third quarter as compared with the same period of the year before. In Britain the average price of houses increased 1.1 percent in April as against March and in Ireland 2 percent in August as compared with the same month of the preceding year, which is said to have turned out to be 85.2 percent more expensive since March 2013.
In the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, however, wonderful dwelling houses were built in Samjiyon City, the Jungphyong Vegetable Greenhouse Farm and the Yangdok Hot Spring Resort in December alone last year.
Korea builds dwelling houses at state expense and distributes them to the people free of charge.
In the past few years, Changjon Street, Unha Scientists Street, Mirae Scientists Street and Ryomyong Street were built in the capital Pyongyang and housing construction goes on every year.

Particularly, the whole country turned out and built dwelling houses in a short span of time to stabilize the life of the people in the flood-stricken areas. Houses for more than 1,800 families were erected in the afflicted area of Rason City in 30 days in Juche 104(2015), and those for at least 11,900 families in the northern devastated area of North Hamgyong Province in 50 days in Juche 105(2016).

The Korean people enjoy other state benefits such as the free education system, the free medical care system, the system of nursing and upbringing of children, the social insurance and security systems and the recuperation and relaxation systems.
They do not know what great benefits they receive from the state in all fields of their life ranging from food, clothing and housing issues to those of studying and medical treatment.
