Rodong Sinmun Calls for All-out Fight against Non-Socialist Practices

Pyongyang, March 10 (KCNA) -- Rodong Sinmun Tuesday in an article calls upon all the members of the society to turn out as one in the fight against non-socialist practices in order to create the Korean-style revolutionary, optimistic and cultured way of life.

The article goes on:

The fight against alien practices is a vital problem directly linked with the destiny of the popular masses and socialism, and an important political work that should involve all the people, not one or two persons.

Upset by the dynamic advance of the DPRK braving difficulties under the unfurled banner of self-reliance, the hostile forces are making desperate efforts to stifle the Republic at any cost.

Just like every work, successes can be achieved when the fight to shatter the desperate moves of the hostile forces and thoroughly uproot alien and unsound practices is turned into the work supported by the popular masses.

The way of cementing the position of the revolution and socialism lies in removing a trifling element contrary to the socialist way of life in no time.

The fight to thoroughly uproot practices alien to the Korean style is of weighty importance in giving full play to the advantages and vitality of the socialist system.

Without the vigorous fight against alien and unsound practices, it is impossible to boost the zeal of the popular masses to make a revolution, wage struggle and display patriotism under the present situation that all the people turned out in the campaign for making a breakthrough head-on in hearty response to the far-reaching plan of the Party, thereby having an adverse effect on building the powerful socialist country.

It is essential to push ahead with ideological education and struggle along with the intensified legal actions, so as not to leave any room for all the negative practices harmful to the advance of Korean-style socialism. -0-
