Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un Visits Kumsusan Palace of Sun
Pyongyang, January 2 (KCNA) -- Kim Jong Un, chairman of the Workers' Party of Korea, chairman of the State Affairs Commission of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea and supreme commander of the armed forces of the DPRK, visited the Kumsusan Palace of the Sun on the occasion of the New Year 2020.
He entered the hall where the statues of President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il stand.
Placed at the statues of Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il were a floral basket in the name of the Supreme Leader and a floral basket in the joint name of the Central Committee of the WPK, the WPK Central Military Commission and the State Affairs Commission of the DPRK and a floral basket in the joint name of the Presidium of the Supreme People's Assembly and the Cabinet of the DPRK.
The Supreme Leader, together with the members of the Party central leadership organ, paid homage to the statues.
At the halls where Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il lie in state he, together with the members of the Party central leadership organ, paid a tribute of the New Year to them.
Accompanying him was Choe Ryong Hae, member of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the C.C., WPK, first vice-chairman of the State Affairs Commission of the DPRK and president of the Presidium of the Supreme People's Assembly.
Also accompanying him were Kim Jae Ryong, member of the Political Bureau of the C.C., WPK, member of the State Affairs Commission of the DPRK and premier of the Cabinet, and members of the Party central leadership organ. -0
