The Association For the Study of Songun Politics UK (ASSPUK),the British Group of the Study of the Juche (BGSJI), the UK Korean Friendship Association(UK KFA) and British Solidarity Committee for Peace and Reunification (BSCPRKP)  issued a joint statement supporting the crucial test carried out by the DPRK Academy of Defence Science at the Sohae Satellite Launching Ground on the  13th of December:
  A spokesman for the DPRK Academy of Defence Science issued a statement on the 14th of December stating that a crucial test  was carried out which will contribute to "further bolstering up the reliable strategic nuclear deterrent of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea. ". We applaud this and believe that it will further increase the defence power of the DPRK which is a bedrock of the independence of the DPRK.
 It is the absolute sovereign right of the DPRK to conduct such tests which are essentially self-defensive . in nature . No one whether it is the US , UN or EU should try to interfere in this !
 We uphold the right of the DPRK to conduct self-defensive tests and duly condemn all imperialist pressure and sanctions on it .
