The development of socialist society is closely interlinked with the ideological, cultural and political level of the popular masses in charge of the development and it is necessary to make all the members of the society steadily improve their ideological and cultural level to win the complete victory of socialism.

To further develop the ideological and cultural work constitutes a basic guarantee for firmly defending the Korean-style socialism.
If the ideological position is destroyed, the tremendous military strength and economic potentials will fail to defend the revolutionary gains - this is a serious lesson given by the history of the socialist movement.
The imperialist reactionaries are persistently spreading unsound and alien ideological viruses within the DPRK and fostering non-socialist practices in order to torpedo the Korean-style socialism and they are abusing ultra-modern scientific and technological successes to do so. The imperialists' moves for ideological and cultural poisoning against the DPRK are getting more and more vicious with each passing day.
All the Party organizations and officials should always bear in mind the importance of the ideological and cultural work and push forward with the work intensively and methodologically so as to consolidate the ideological and cultural position of socialism. -0-
