ASSPUK, JISGE , UK KFA and BSCPRKP on the 90th Anniversary of the Kwangju Student Incident

The Association For the Study of Songun Politics UK (ASSPUK),the Juche Idea Study Group of England(JISGE) , the UK Korean Friendship Association(UK KFA) and British Solidarity Committee for Peace and Reunification (BSCPRKP) issued a joint statement on the occasion of the 90th anniversary of the Kwangju student incident in Korea;
  90 years there occurred a spontaneous uprising against Japanese imperialism in Korea. The initial cause was the molestation and insulting of a Korean girl student in Kwangju by a Japanese student . The deeper and underlying causes were the injustice and oppression of Japanese imperialist colonial rue in Korea.
  The Korean people rose up against Japanese oppression and the struggle spread to  all parts of Korea including Pyongyang, Sinuiju, Hamhung, Kaesong, Seoul, Taegu and Pusan. However it it was brutally put down by the Japanese imperialists .
 The Korean people remember the injustices of Japanese colonial rule and that Japan is their sworn enemy !
