The Association For the Study of Songun Politics UK (ASSPUK),the Juche Idea Study Group of England(JISGE) , the UK Korean Friendship Association(UK KFA) and British Solidarity Committee for Peace and Reunification (BSCPRKP) issued a statement applauding the action of south Korean progressive students who set foot in the residence of the US ambassador to south Korea and occupied it :
   On October 18 a group of progressive south  Korean students entered the U.S. ambassador’s residential compound in Seoul, south Korea to protest  against the continuing presence of U.S. troops in south Korea .The anti-imperialist and patriotic students were about 20 in number. They  chanted “We don’t need U.S. troops,” and “Get out!” .
  We applaud the just action of the anti-imperialist south Korean students . The US Embassy in south Korea is simply a centre of of US imperialist colonial rule in south Korea and a means of domination.
  The US troops in south Korea are colonial parasites who live off the south Korean people . We support the struggle of the south Korean people for their withdrawal.
 We applaud and support the action of the south Korean students .
  For real peace on the Korean peninsula the US troops must leave south Korea !
