The Association for the Study of Songun Politics ,the  Juche Idea Study Group of England , the UK Korean Friendship Association (UK KFA ) and the British Solidarity Committee for Peace and Reunification (BSCPRKP) issued the following joint statement  in suppport of the statement of the Roving Ambassador of the DPRK Foreign Ministry  Kim Myong Gil:
  The statement of the Roving Ambassador of the DPRK Foreign Ministry  Kim Myong Gil basically welcomed the departure of the arch reactionary John Bolton from the post of US National Security Adviser . Bolton had advocated the so-called 'Libyan model '  of unilateral and instant nuclear disarmament which was a severe affront to the DPRK  and was basically aimed at destroying the socialist system of the DPRK and making the DPRK a colony of the US .
   The statement welcomed the apparent new approach of Trump to negotiations . Our organisations also hope that the US will take a new approach and discard past hostile policies towards the DPRK . Such policies are outworn, anachronistic and from the cold war era of the 20th century.If peace is to be secured on the Korean peninsula , then a new approach needs to be taken by the US.
