The Association for the Study of Songun Politics ,the  Juche Idea Study Group of England , the UK Korean Friendship Association (UK KFA ) and the British Solidarity Committee for Peace and Reunification (BSCPRKP) issued the following joint statement in support of the statement of the 1st Vice Foreign Minister of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) Ms  Choe Son Hui concerning holding talks with the US:
Responding to recent comments by US negotiators and by the US state secretary Ms Choe expressed the DPRK's willingness to enter into talks with the US at the end of September . Ms Choe reiterated the basic standpoint of the DPRK which had been clarified by the April policy speech of Marshal KIM JONG UN that for negotiations to continue and to bear fruit  the US must change its stance towards the DPRK and enter into meaningful negotiations .
However , Ms Choi warns that should the US resort to old style anachronistic tactics then DPRK-US negotiations may come to an end .So basically it is up to US whether negotiations with the DPRK are successful or whether they fail.
We support the just and correct stand of the DPRK.
