Report of Central Election Committee in DPRK Issued
Pyongyang, March 7 (KCNA) -- The work for nominating and registering candidates for deputies to the 14th Supreme People's Assembly (SPA) has been successfully conducted in the Democratic People's Republic of Korea.
In this regard, the Central Election Committee issued a report on Mar. 7.
The meetings of electors for nominating candidates and examining their qualifications nominated as candidates workers, peasants, intellectuals, service personnel of the People's Army and officials who have devotedly worked for the prosperity of the socialist country and happiness of its people, true to the idea and guidance of Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un, the report said.
The report noted that the election committees in all the constituencies across the country registered the nominees as candidates for deputies to the 14th SPA to be elected in their constituencies under the Law on the Elections of Deputies to the People's Assemblies at All Levels.
The Central Election Committee reported that the candidates for deputies to the 14th SPA nominated at electors' meetings held in all the constituencies throughout the country were correctly registered as candidates for deputies to the SPA by the election committees of their relevant constituencies. -0-
