Pyongyang, March 14 (KCNA) -- Rodong Sinmun on Thursday says in an article that the leader is the center of the life of the popular masses and the top intellect, not a being apart from them.
The distinguished position and role of the leader lie in the fact that the leader personifies the interests of the popular masses to the maximum and organizes and guides their independent and creative struggle, it says, and goes on:
The leader leads the people to victory and glory.
The people should be united with one idea in one organization to be the independent driving force that carves out their destiny by themselves. Only the leader can accomplish the cause of arming the popular masses with independent revolutionary idea and rallying them around revolutionary organization.
The leader makes the working masses the owner of the state power and the means of production and leads them to exercise all sovereign rights, take part in state management with the attitude of the master and reject and frustrate all pressure, arbitrary practices and moves of aggression by foreign forces at every step, thus letting them enjoy the dignified life as independent people.
The leader is the great servant of the people who devotes his all to their happiness, sharing life and death with them all his life.
The supreme models of the popular leader are President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il who remain long in the world history of socialist movement. Their lives are the sacred revolutionary histories of people's leaders who devoted themselves to the country and people till the last moments of their lives as leaders, revolutionaries and human beings, going through unimaginable hardships and trials.
Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un is creditably carrying forward the history of the ardent love of the great leaders for the people, the history of most fervent and sacrificial devotion for the people. -0-
