Report of December Meeting of the Juche Idea Study Group of England , UK KFA and Association for the Study of Songun Politics

                                                 

The Juche Idea Study Group of England together with the UK Committee to Remember the great leader comrade KIM JONG IL , the Association for the Study of Songun Politics UK and UK Korean Friendship Association held a meeting on the 8th of December to commemorate the life of the great leader comrade KIM JONG IL as well as the 101st anniversary of the birth of Madame KIM JONG SUK and the 7th anniversary of the election of dear respected Marshal KIM JONG UN to the post of supreme commander of the KPA . The meeting was held on the 8th of December in Central London and attended by members of the JISGE, UK KFA and JISGE as well Revolutionary Communist Party of Britain Marxist Leninist. The meeting was greatly honoured by the presence of the Ambassador of the DPRK to the UK , his excellency Choe Il and other staff of the DPRK Embassy.
                                             

  Dr Dermot Hudson chairman of the Juche Idea Study Group of England , chairman of UK KFA and President of the Association for the Study of Songun Politics UK opened the meeting saying that we are not here to mourn the life of the great leader comrade KIM JONG IL but to celebrate it as part of the struggle for socialism . Dr Hudson also referred to the anniversary of the birth of Madame KIM JONG SUK.
                                           

   Ambassador Choe Il of the DPRK Embassy , London addressed the meeting to applause . He spoke most moving of the immortal achievements that the great leader comrade KIM JONG IL performed for the defence and advance of the socialist cause . Ambassador Choe Il said that comrade KIM JONG IL had defended socialism in the most trying conditions against the winds of history through explemary ideological and theoreotical work . The ideas of the great leader comrade KIM JONG IL constituted a miltant banner of independence and socialism .
   Dr Dermot Hudson read out the message from the Stoke-On-Trent branch of the Juche Idea Study Group of England which said " The Stoke On Trent Branch of the Juche Idea Study Group sends our solicitations to the meeting to commemorate the life and work of the Chairman KIM JONG IL upon the 7th anniversary of the passing away of the Great Leader. Our branch still finds it painful to recall the sudden demise of KIM JONG IL, we have turned our sorrow into immense ideological strength and uphold the theories of Kimjongilism. A delegation from our Study Group was privileged to have paid tribute to the Great General KIM JONG IL in the Kumsusan Palace Of The Sun on September 8th, 2018 One of KIM JONG IL's greatest deeds was to have systematized the theories of President KIM IL SUNG into a comprehensive ideological system. The works of KIM JONG IL on the Juche Idea contributed vastly to furthering the science of socialism. " James Taylor UK KFA Communications Secretary read out a message from KFA Scotland .
   Dr Dermot Hudson made a speech on the subject of the great leader comrade KIM JONG IL and the struggle for socialism in Korea , he said that " In commemorating the life of the great leader comrade KIM JONG IL we are not celebrating the life of one individual but the struggle of millions of Korean people for progress , prosperity and socialism . Moreover the struggle of the Korean people for independence, sovereignty is part of a worldwide struggle that is waged in many lands of the world such as Palestine , Venezuela , Cuba and other countries . Indeed it can be said that just as Cuba is the outpost of socialism in the Western hemisphere, the DPRK is the outpost of socialism in the far East. " Visiting the DPRK this year in September and in 2017 we saw the actual train that comrade KIM JONG IL passed away on whilst giving on the spot guidance . The very same papers that he was working on and his glasses were on the desk as if he gone for a rest and was going to come back. This was symbolic of the life of comrade KIM JONG IL , a man who worked without let-up Dr Hudson also spoke about the life of Madame KIM JONG SUK , whose 101st birth anniversary is on the 24th of December , He said as follows " The life and achievements of Madame KIM JONG SUK are indeed very great so that the Korean people and revolutionary peoples of the world study and uphold them . In some countries organisations bearing her name have been formed such as the Peru group for the study of the revolutionary activities of Kim Jong Suk and the Kim Jong Suk Women's Union of Russia . Visiting the International Friendship Exhibition at Mt Myohyang in August and April of this year we saw the waxwork statue of Madame KIM JONG SUK which looked very lifelike . Looking at the statue I recalled the great exploits of Madame KIM JONG SUK , Mother of Korea, heroine of the anti-Japanese revolutionary , indomitable communist revolutionary fighter and the pioneer of Juche-based , socialist women's liberation.".
                                                       

   Alexander Meads , UK KFA Commissar spoke about the 7th anniversary of the election of respected Marshal KIM JONG UN as supreme commander of the Korean People's Army. He said Marshal KIM JONG UN performed great exploits in carrying forward the cause of Songun and the cause of army building , he said that respected Marshal KIM JONG UN had defended the independence of People's Korea successfuly and turned Korea into an ICBM power and nuclear power in defiance of the imperialists . At the same respected Marshal KIM JONG UN has is a great peace maker who held 3 inter-Korean summits and the successful DPRK-US summit with Donald Trump.
  Dr Hudson referred to the 27th anniversary of the election of the great leader comrade KIM JONG IL as supreme commander of the Korean People's Army saying that " The appointment of the great leader generalissimo Kim Jong Il as Supreme commander of the Korean People's Army, on the 24th of December a was a great steo forward on the long march of the Songun revolutionary leadership. The Korean People's Army, founded by the great leader comrade Kim Il Sung ,is the reliable defender of socialist Korea. Moreover as the DPRK is on the front line of the struggle against imperialism"
Dr Hudson spoke about the 40th anniversary of the slogan " Lets Us Live Our Own Way " pointing out that " The slogan "let us live our own way " was a striking and bold slogan , a militant revolutionary slogan that declared Korea's will to live its own way free from imperialism. It was an expression of the Juche-based faith of the DPRK guided by the great leader comrade Kim Il Sung to independently and self-reliantly construct socialism without being fettered by big power -chauvinism or US imperialism" .
 A message to dear respected Marshal KIM JONG UN was adopted.
                       

An exhibition of books including the "Short Biography of KIM JONG IL as well as the works of the great leaders comrades KIM IL SUNG , KIM JONG IL and KIM JONG UN plus publications of UK KFA and JISGE was organised .
