London  22nd of October Juche 107(2018)
The Association For the Study of Songun Politics UK (ASSPUK),the Juche Idea Study Group of England(JISGE) , the UK Korean Friendship Association(UK KFA) and British Solidarity Committee for Peace and Reunification (BSCPRKP)  today issued a joint statement supporting the commentary, "Does the U.S. feel ashamed of itself for approaching us with two faces" written by Jong Hyon
We support and applaud the commentary carried by the Korean Central News Agency on the 20th of October " Does U.S. Feel Ashamed of Itself for Approaching DPRK with Two Faces" by Jong Hyon.
The US has indeed played a double dealing game with the DPRK , on the one hand entering into negotiations  with the the DPRK are the very highest level but on the other hand continuing to purse the anti-DPRK hostile policy particularly sanctions. It should always be remembered that sanctions are basically an act of war , a form of economic warfare aimed at bringing an adversary to its knees and destroying it .
The US has described the negotiations including the visit of Pompeo to Pyongyang in early October as a  ""great achievement" and "productive " etc but they are still doggedly pursuing sanctions against the DPRK even going to the lengths of demanding other countries enforce the sanctions on the DPRK and telling south Korea that it cannot lift sanctions on the DPRK , that is needs the approval of the US to do so etc(the US is acting as a colonial overlord in south Korea , denying it independence ).
The article by Jong Hyon questions the aim of the US in the negotiations asking whether  "Does the U.S. really want to improve its relationship with the DPRK or does it have some other intention?"
Indeed this is a most pertinent question . Our organisations believe that the US has a ulterior motive in pursuing negotiations with the DPRK , The US seeks to achieve the unilateral and one-sided nuclear disarmament of the DPRK , taking about the "Libyan model " and now the "Ukraine model ". The mention of the Ukraine model is very telling as the Ukraine is a country hated by the progressive peoples for being  a colony or neo-colony of imperialism , the banks and the IMF that is now ruled by by a fascist clique Does the US want the DPRK to end up like the Ukraine ?. Moreover we believe that the US also seeks to achieve the destruction of the socialist system of the DPRK . It is indeed most correct that the commentator Jong Hyon writes that
It seems that the U.S. regards the negotiations with the DPRK not as the ones for putting an end to the history of hostility and distrust lingering century after century and for establishing the new relations of trust but as a black-hearted kiss"
We believe that if negotiations between the DPRK and US are to bear fruit and result in achieving
a durable peace on the Korean peninsula , then the US must approach the negotiations in an honest way , without preconditions and without any ulterior motives or hidden agendas. Moreover it is a fact that the DPRK has taken important steps towards a lasting peace one by one such as suspending
nuclear and missile tests. There has been no nuclear test by the DPRK for 13 months and no missile test for 11 months ,so there is no need for the US and UNSC to enforce sanctions on the DPRK that were supposedly imposed as a punishment for such tests. Thus if the US approaches the DPRK in a fair and honest way then the DPRK will reciprocate .
We continue to support the just stand of the DPRK and urge that all progressive organsiations expose the double dealing tactics of US imperialism !
NO TO DOUBLE DEALING DECEPTIVE TACTICS !
US HANDS OFF KOREA!
