A rally denouncing the US occupation of south Korea was held in Seoul on September 8 under the sponsorship of the People's Action for Peace against War with attendance of more than 1 000 people.
Let us make the day of US occupation of south Korea that of withdrawal of the US army, they said. Who allows the US forces in south Korea to threaten life and security of the people and the presence of the US forces in south Korea is anachronistic as inter-Korean summit and the DPRK-US summit were held, they noted. They called for the people to turn out in the drive to drive out the US troops from south Korea as they ousted Park Geun-hye.
