No austerity or cuts in People's Korea despite the sanctions and blockade

                                      

The DPRK was first put under US sanctions in 1950 and from 2006 successive UNSC sanctions . UNSC sanctions resolutions 2371 and 2375 imposed a virtual total blockade on the DPRK .However in the DPRK there is no talk of austerity and no public spending cutbacks .Imagine if the the UK was under the same level of sanctions as the DPRK , there would be massive and deep austerity ! . However the DPRK maintains free health care , free education and virtually free housing
