U.S. and Its Followers Advised to Mind Their Own Business: KCNA Commentary
Pyongyang, January 27 (KCNA) -- Recently a young man of Britain was reportedly indicted on charges of hacking e-mails of chiefs of U.S. information services and over 20 000 employees of FBI and disclosing them.
This case embarrassed the U.S. and its vassal forces which used to claim that cyber attacks were "deeds of north Korea".
Last year Britain connected a cyber attack with the DPRK, in a far fetched way, when the cyber attack crippled hundreds of thousands of computers linked to the system of national public health, making it impossible to give medical aid to more than 19 000 patients.
At that time some experts alleged that they found signs of north Korea's involvement, adding that the code used in the cyber attack was much like that in the previous hacking cases that seemed to be done by Pyongyang.
Notably, a British official sniped at Pyongyang for its involvement in the cyber attack, claiming that the British government was sure that north Korea was behind the case.
In this regard, the DPRK, which gives top priority to the life and health of the people, made clear that it doesn't make sense that the DPRK conducted such cyber attack targeting the health system of Britain. And it officially informed the UK side that its act of unilaterally finding fault with the DPRK without any evidence was a scheme to tarnish the image of the DPRK.
Whenever cyber attacks take place worldwide, the U.S. and other hostile forces mislead the public, linking the cases with the DPRK for no ground.
As a matter of fact, the kingdom of cyber crimes is the U.S. and it is also the U.S. that regards the cyber attack as an important tool for its foreign policy.
The cyber space is means for preemptive attack which the U.S. attaches importance to for the realization of its strategy for hegemony, as well as nuclear stick and dollars.
The U.S. has regarded the cyber space as the 5th domain for the global domination next to sky, land, sea, outer space from long ago and organized units specializing in cyber warfare in the 1990s.
Its cyber attack target includes the whole world ranging from anti-U.S. independent countries such as the DPRK to potential rivals like Russia and China, competitor allies and even henchmen.
When the Sony Pictures Entertainment was hacked in 2014, the U.S. imposed harsher sanctions on the DPRK to stifle it, calling it a hacking criminal, but the truth behind the plot was disclosed through a joint investigation of world-famous information security enterprises.
The U.S. and its followers such as Britain had better mind their own businesses rather than provoking other countries over cyber attack. -0-
