The Association For the Study of Songun Politics UK(ASSPUK),the Juche Idea Study Group of England(JISGE), the UK Korean Friendship Association(UK KFA) and the British Solidarity Committee for Peace and Reunification of Korea (BSCPRKP)issued a statement supporting the press statement of the spokesperson of the Foreign Ministry of the DPRK concerning the holding of a
"ministerial level meeting " on "non proliferation at the UN Security Council(UNSC):
Japan taking advantage of the fact that it holds the presidency of the UNSC has acted as a cats paw or stool pigeon of the US imperialists to call a meeting of the UNSC the subject of the "non-proliferation" issue of the DPRK. This is quite absurb . The UNSC does not need to discuss the non-proliteration issue of the DPRK but that of the US which has the biggest stockpile of nuclear weapons in the world .
The DPRK has always made it clear that it is committed to non-profileration and will not sell nuclear weapons to other countries as well as its committment to non-first use of nuclear weapons . The US has however twice used nuclear weapons against a non-nuclear state.
The DPRK's development of the nuclear deterrent is just defensive measure undertaken to protect the DPRK from the nuclear threat and aggression of US imperialism. The DPRK's nukes do not threaten anyone.
It is so shameful to see the UNSC acting as a mere puppet of the US imperialists. The UNSC has consistently refused to the virtually continous war exercises staged by the US imperialists and south Korean puppets against People's Korea but has unjustly imposed sanctions on People's Korea !
The UNSC must not act like a plaything of the US imperialists and must stop interfereing in the DPRK's just independent rights .
HANDS OFF PEOPLE'S KOREA !
