UK KFA Emergency picket of the US Embassy against Ullji Freedom Guardian 26.08.2017

                                              

A picket of the US imperalist embassy in London was held on the 26th of August between 1500 hours and 1700 hours organised by the UK Korean Friendship Association , the Association for the Study of Songun Politics UK and the Juche Idea Study Group of England . It was attended by members of the ASSPUK, JISGE, UK KFA , British Solidarity Committee , also by members of the New Communist Party including the General Secretary Andy Brooks. Also in attendance were members of the British Branch of the Italian Communist Party and members of the Irish community in London. An attempt by neo-nazis to infitlrate , disrupt and discredit the picket was detected and foiled at the beginning of the picket .
                                               

 Dr Dermot Hudson president of the ASSPUK, Chairman of JISGE and Chairman of UK KFA spoke saying that " The US imperialists and the south Korean puppets have already began Uli Freedom Guardian which involve some 17 500 U.S. imperialist aggressor troops in south Korea and abroad, at least 50 000 troops of the south Korean puppet army and armed forces of seven satellite countries which include the UK ,Australia ,France , Colombia and other countries . Civilians will also be involved on the drill . The exercises are being held at a time a great tension . Moreover the exercises include beheading operations etc. Ulji Freedom Guardian is not defensive. It is about invading the DPRK and destroying the socialist system in the DPRK , in essence regime change by force pure and simple . The fact that it is held annually does not make it any less aggressive indeed it basically shows the hostile intent of the US towards the DPRK. The exercises are being held at a time when the US throught its puppet the UNSC have harsh draconian sanctions with the aim of strangling the economy and obliterating the socialist system . Thus the US are trying to destroy the DPRK on two fronts ... We are here today to demand that the US and south cancel the Uli Freedom Guardian exercises , withdraw US troops , revoke the sanctions and end the hostile policy towards the DPRK " Picketers chanted No to Sanctions , no to war ! US out of Korea ! Yankee Go Home ! Korea is One ! Yankee , Yankee , Yankee Out , Out , Out ! Victory to People's Korea ! The UK KFA banner and DPRK flag were displayed along with the flag of the Italian Communist Party . Placards saying "No to Ulji Freedom Guardian " , " No to Sanctions , No to War " , "US out of Korea " and "Victory to the AINDF " were displayed. A large quantity of leaflets was handed out and good discussion with passers by. The picket was a success despite it being held on an August holiday and with travelling difficulties.
