mini meeting and seminar by the Association For the Study of Songun
Politics UK , Juche Idea Study Group of England and UK Korean Friendship
Association to mark the Day of Songun and the 48th anniversary of the
foundation of the Anti-Imperialist National Democratic Front of south
Korea was held on the 25th of August at 1900 hours . It was attended by members of
the ASSPUK, JISGE and UK KFA and by members of the New Communist Party
including general secretary Andy Brooks.
Dr Dermot Hudson President of the Association for the Study of Songun Politics UK , Chairman of the Juche Idea Study Group of England addressed the meeting . Firstly he made reference to his recent trip to People's Korea and gave a brief report of the visit .
Then Dr Hudson spoke about the Day of Songun , the 57th anniversary of the start of the Songun revolutionary leadership by the great leader generalissim KIM JONG IL saying that " The great leader generalissimo KIM JONG IL carried forward the cause of Juche-army building and Songun revolutionary leadership pioneered by the great leader President KIM IL SUNG . During the five decades of Songun revolutionary leadership the heroic Korean People's Army was built up splendidly in all field not just in terms of weaponry and technique
Under the Songun revolutionary leadership the KPA discharged its role of defender of the gains of socialism with honour. Many times,since the end of the Korean war, the US imperialists tried to provoke or stifle the DPRK but in each incident ; the "USS Pueblo " in 1968 , the EC121 incident of 1969, the Panmunjom incident of 1976 , the helicopter shoot-down of 1994, the first and second "nuclear crisis" and the Yongphyong Island shelling , they were thwarted and defeated thanks to the Songun politics and the militant all-out anti- US stance of the DPRK.
Glory to the Songun revolutionary leadership !, long may it continue ! The Songun based revolutionary line has been pushed forward and the brilliant line of building the economy and nuclear force in parallel has carried out showing its great vitality.Now the DPRK is an ICBM power capable of defending itself against US imperialism.Led by dear respected Marshal KIM JONG UN the Korean people will win final victory !

Andy Brooks said that the Songun policy had successfully defended socialism in the DPRK.Theo Russell CC member of the Nw Communist Party said that the DPRK economy is booming and that the DPRK is able to boost both national defence and the economy at the same time.
Dr Hudson referred to the 48th anniversary of the foundation of the Anti-Imperialist National Democratic front of south Korea saying that " Today the AINDF is bravely fighting against the US imperialist occupation of south Korea and neo-colonialism and it is fighting hard for independent national reunification. It upholds the leadership of t the dear respected Marshal KIM JONG UN , lodestar of national reunification in high esteem and strives to embody Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism in its work. Guided by the great Juche Idea the AINDF will win final victory.
Our organisations, the ASSPUK, JISGE UK KFA and the British Solidarity Committee for Peace and Reunification in Korea (BSCPRKP) are very proud to have fraternal relations with the AINDF and will strive to strengthen them .We will give more publicity to the struggle of AINDF We salute the AINDF on the 48th anniversary of its foundation!

Dr Hudson stressed the need to give more publicity to the struggle of the AINDF and expose the fascist nature of south Korea.
All the participants said that Trump's Korea policy had totally failed and was in disarray . They expressed the conviction that the DPRK would win final victory over the US !
