UN Flag Usurped in Enlarging Korean War

Pyongyang, June 24 (KCNA) -- The Korean war in the 1950s was the war of aggression provoked by the U.S. imperialists with multinational forces involved under the cloak of the "United Nations Forces".

After occupying the southern part of Korea, the U.S. was desperately keen on reducing the whole of Korea into its colony and advanced base for invading Asia.
For this purpose, the U.S. stepped up war preparations against the DPRK. And prior to the Korean war, its State Department formed groups in charge of preparing documents and resolutions to be presented and adopted at the UNSC and UN General Assembly.
On the eve of the war, American warmonger Dulles promised traitor Syngman Rhee of south Korea that if the south Korean puppet army held out for only two weeks after the war outbreak, the U.S., in the meantime, would prosecute north Korea for attacking the south at the UN and pressure the UN into mobilizing multinational forces in the name of UN.
On June 25, 1950, the south Korean puppet clique unleashed a war against the DPRK at the instigation of the U.S. imperialists. At the same time, the U.S. imperialists brought the issue of Korean war to the UNSC and railroaded the resolution No. 82 to brand the DPRK as an "aggressor". And on June 27, they cooked up the UN resolution No. 83 to justify their armed intervention in the war.
On July 7, the U.S. imperialists convened a UNSC meeting again to adopt an illegal "decision" on organizing the U.S.-led "UN forces" by using their yes-men.
Thus, one third of the U.S. ground force, one fifth of its air force and most of its Pacific Fleet and troops from its 15 satellite countries, including UK, France, Canada and Turkey, were fed into the war.
All these facts clearly show that the U.S. imperialists are the provoker of the Korean War. -0-
