CCNR Spokesman Slams S. Korean Authorities for Joining in Outsiders' Anti-DPRK Moves

Pyongyang, June 8 (KCNA) -- A spokesman of the Consultative Council for National Reconciliation Thursday gave an answer to question put by KCNA over the fact that the south Korean authorities supported the "sanctions resolution" cooked up at the UNSC.

The spokesman said:

Recently the U.S. and other hostile forces at the UNSC cooked up "sanctions resolution" 2356 against the DPRK over its test-fires of new-type ground-to-ground intermediate-range strategic ballistic rocket Hwasong-12 and ground-to-ground intermediate-range strategic ballistic missile Pukguksong-2.

This is no more than a brutal political terrorism against a sovereign state and it is no more than last-ditch effort of the U.S. and its vassal forces taken aback by the might of the DPRK.

But the south Korean authorities are now behaving imprudently, expressing support for such outrageous "resolution", the spokesman pointed out, and went on:

The south Korean authorities let a spokesman for the Foreign Ministry and the like claim that they "appreciate the UNSC resolution as reconfirmation of the international community's firm will for the denuclearization of the north" and that they will make "sustained efforts for the north's denuclearization" by use of all possible means such as sanctions and pressure, joining the international community in faithfully fulfilling the "resolution".

It is needless to say that such disgraceful behavior is an unpardonable treachery of joining in the U.S. and other hostile forces' desperate moves to bar the DPRK from bolstering up its nuclear force and stifle it.

If the south Korean authorities want the improvement of the north-south relations and peace of the Korean peninsula, they should not join the outsiders in the anti-DPRK moves blindly, calling for "sanctions," but come out to display the spirit of By Our Nation Itself. -0
