The Natural History Museum was newly built at the foot of picturesque Mt. Taesong in Pyongyang in July Juche 105 (2016).
A total floor space of the museum is over 35 000 sq metres and its mark is a dinosaur.
The museum is designed in an intuitive and plastic and artistic way that visitors can see the evolution process of the nature.
In the show-rooms and a planetarium of Outer Space Hall one could feel flying in an earth satellite, feels as if he lives in ancient times of dinosaur era in a dinosaur park of Paleozoic Hall and in the animal and plant halls he could see all the fauna and flora on the earth.
Those halls are all well-arranged on the principle of scientific accuracy, practicality and kind service.
Anyone would be unaware of the passage of time while looking round the fascinating world of nature.
An e-library and sci-tech learning space in the museum are used as an educational centre for giving wide-ranging knowledge about nature.
The museum which includes all fields of natural world such as space, paleontology, animal and plant provides people with mass educational and science research and dissemination base as well as another peculiar education and leisure complex.
