More on rumours about "reform" "opening " and "market forces in the DPRK

                                                                 

Recently on the Al Jazeera "The Stream " programme (14 March 201/ a so-called expert on the DPRK from an organisation called "Choson Exchange"asserted that the DPRK is deviating from the socialist road and introduced market forces and even private businesses
 Just after the great leader comrade KIM JONG IL passed away the National Defence Commission of the DPRK stated "we solemnly declare with confidence that the south Korean puppets and foolish politicians around the world should not expect any change from the DPRK." .Later on in 2012 the Committee For the Peaceful Reunification of Korea stated "To expect "policy change" and "reform and opening" from the DPRK is nothing but a foolish and silly dream just like wanting the sun to rise in the west."
    The DPRK supreme leader Marshal  KIM JONG UN said in April 2012 said that "The permanent strategy of our revolution and its final victory lie in marching straight along the road of independence, the road of Songun and the road of socialism, as indicated by President Kim Il Sung and General Kim Jong Il." This a declaration that the DPRK will continue along the socialist road come what may, Turning to the question of economic management Dear respected Marshal KIM JONG UN said
"Efforts should be directed to holding fast to the socialist principles in the economic work and enhancing the sense of responsibility and role of working people, undertakers of production and construction, so as to increase production to the maximum."
furthermore that ;
"The effort to build a thriving socialist country is accompanied by a serious class struggle to eliminate all that are hostile and non-socialist."
  He also stressed the need to guard again the capitalist way of life declaring that
"The capitalist ideology and bourgeois lifestyle are like cancer that takes people’s lives.”
The above quotations explain the DPRK's true position.One should pay heed to the DPRK's Supreme leader rather than self-styled ,self-appointed bourgeois " experts "
                                     

  The DPRK economy is based firmly on the socialist ownership of the means of production ,distribution and exchange.Moreover it is based on socialist planning and the idea that the DPRK cabinet is the headquarters of the economy.
   Visiting the DPRK several times in the last few years one could see  the red flag flying everywhere and co-operative farmers marching onto the fields holding high the red flag. I saw no sign of spivs ,capitalists , landowners or black market currency dealers. In the countryside there were no big mansions or private estates.
  Some forces are trying to infiltrate  capitalism into the People's Country in order to overthrow the socialist system by stealth  and the big power-chauvinists and revisionists are trying to force the DPRK to "reform " and "open up " ,howeve  the DPRK does not intend to adopt "China style reforms " but to solve any questions in the Korean style, adhering to socialist principles and carrying forward the ideas of President KIM IL SUNG and leader KIM JONG IL !
