The Association For the Study of Songun Politics UK(ASSPUK),the Juche Idea Study Group of England(JISGE),the UK Korean Friendship Association(UK KFA) and the UK Preparatory Committee For the 2017 Gathering to Praise the Great Persons Born of Mt Paektu issued a statement in support of the White Paper of the Korean People's Army (KPA)Panmjumjom Mission :
  The Panmunjom Mission of the Korean People's Army has issued an excellent White Paper on the adventurous and aggressive nature of Ulji Freedom Guardian . Ulji Freedom Guardian is
a US and south Korean military or war exercise .This year it  ran from the 22nd of August and was
concluded today , a period of nearly two weeks. It involved a large number of US and south Korean
troops. To our shame it included some British military personnel as well as troops of other satellite
states of US imperialism.
   The KPA Panmunjom Mission exposes the nature of Ulji Freedom Guardian which has greatly expanded in scale and depth over the years .As the White Paper points out "the main point here is to put the DPRK under their control by force.
    After the Cold War they invented lots of war scenarios to establish military domination over the whole of Korea and steadily modified and supplemented operational plans of all kinds for their materialization.
    Ulji Freedom Guardian which has been staged every year is just an example of the scenarios.
    Ulji Focus Lens joint military exercises which put emphasis on simulation drill on maps were expanded into large-scale war exercises called Ulji Freedom Guardian in 2008 with the U.S. imperialist aggression forces who regard the Korean peninsula as their operational theatre, the puppet forces, all the puppet central and local administrative organs, munitions, civilian enterprises and all human and material resources of south Korea involved."
  As we have consistently pointed out Ulji Freedom Guardian is not defensive but aggressive . It pure intent to destroy the socialist system in People's Korea by force and to convert the northern half of
Korea into a US imperialist slave colony. It is also the intention of the US imperialists and their
south Korean puppets to mount a pre-emptive strike on the Democratic People's Republic of Korea.
   As the KPA Panmunjom Mission trenchantly points out "It is the trite method of the imperialists to describe war as "peace", aggression as "defense" and plunder as "aid". This is very true . The talk of peace from the US imperialists is completely false and the so-called aid they give to the third world is merely a lever for exploition and plunder.
   We fully support the White Paper of the KPA Panmunjom Mission believing that Ulji Freedom Guardian must be abandoned for good otherwise the US imperialists must face the consequences.
