The Association For the Study of Songun Politics UK(ASSPUK),the Juche Idea Study Group of England(JISGE),the UK Korean Friendship Association(UK KFA) and the UK Preparatory Committee For the 2017 Gathering to Praise the Great Persons Born of Mt Paektu issued a joint statement in support of the statement of the General Staff of the Korean People's Army issued on the 22nd of August ;
   The Ulji Freedom Guardian war exercises of the US imperialists and the south Korean puppets have started today and will last until early September.
It is a extremely dangerous and provocative exercise.It includes simulated nuclear attacks on People's Korea and operations to occupy the northern half of Korea and effect regime change.It follows on from other provocative war exercises  such as Foal Eagle-Key Resolve staged earlier this year.
   As the KPA General Staff statement  points out "clear manifestation of a vicious plot to deprive the service personnel and people of the DPRK of their cradle by force of arms and inflict a miserable fate of colonial slavery upon them.". This is a very clear and correct analysis of what Ulji Freedom Guardian is about , it is about 'regime change' and the destruction of the people-centred socialist system .It is about making the people of the DPRK who enjoy an independent and creative life suffer the enslavement of world monopoly capital and the colonial rule of US imperialism as has been the fate of many peoples in  the third world.
    However the DPRK is not Iraq nor Libya nor Panama nor Grenada.
 The KPA General Staff who never mince words nor flinch from their responsibilities as the defenders of People's Korea have taken a tough no-nonsense stance on the  question of Ulji Freedom Guardian pointing that the KPA can launch a pre-emptive strike and wipe-out the US imperialist aggressors !. As the statement of the KPA General Staff says " It is the resolute determination and will of the Paektusan revolutionary armed forces to terminate the ever more reckless moves of the U.S. imperialists and the south Korean puppet forces for a nuclear war not temporarily but indefinitely.
    We once again declare that the revolutionary armed forces of the DPRK with remarkably increased capability for mounting a preemptive nuclear attack of Korean style are waiting for a historic chance to blow up all strongholds of aggression and war and liberate the southern half of Korea"
  We applaud the militant ant-imperialist, revolutionary stance of the General
Staff of the Korean People's Army. If the US knows what is good for them they
will back off and cancel Ulji Freedom Guardian.
