IN REMEMBRANCE OF THE GREAT LEADER PRESIDENT KIM IL SUNG

                                                           

   Although some 22 years have passed since the great leader President KIM IL SUNG passed away on the 8th of July 1994 his memory burns ever brightly in the hearts and minds of the Juche Idea and Songun Idea followers of the UK . Moreover the ideas and thoughts of  President KIM IL SUNG are as valid as ever and are carried forward by the respected leader Chairman KIM JONG UN.

   It is particularly poignant for us to recall the passing away of the great revolutionary leader President KIM IL SUNG because a delegation of the JISGE consisting of myself and comrade Shaun Pickford had been studying at the Korean Juche Idea Academy in June 1994 and returned to the UK on the 3rd of July 1994. Every day we were in the DPRK we saw the great leader President KIM IL SUNG on the tv giving on the spot guidance and meeting foreign guests. It seemed unbelievable that he would pass away so suddenly.

     The passing away of the great leader President KIM IL SUNG was the greatest loss to the Korean people but it also robbed the international communist movement and world revolutionary of a great leader .

      The great leader President KIM IL SUNG from his early days struggled for independence ,leading two severe revolutionary wars to victory . He was the great guerrilla fighter and ever-victorious iron-willed brilliant commander who vanquished the Japanese and US imperialists.

 President KIM IL SUNG authored the great Juche Idea , the weapon for achieving the independence of the popular masses. He was the pioneer of the Songun Idea , the treasured sword for defending socialism and the torch of anti-imperialist independence.

      President KIM IL SUNG led the anti-imperialist ,anti-feudal revolution and socialist revolution to victory. He built an advanced socialist system in Korea , creating a people' paradise and model country of socialism. He authored many great theories on the building of socialism.

     The great leader President KIM IL SUNG was the outstanding leader of the world revolution who put forward the line of anti-imperialist, anti-US struggle. He always opposed modern revisionism  and fought for the unity of the international communist movement.

   President KIM IL SUNG struggled for independent reunification of Korea all his life.

   We join with the Korean people and world progressives in remembering the greatleader President KIM IL SUNG , the father of People's Korea and an outstanding leader of the world revolution.
