The Association For the Study of Songun Politics UK(ASSPUK), the Juche Idea Study Group of England(JISGE) ,the UK Korean Friendship Association(UK KFA) and the UK Preparatory Committee For the 2017 Gathering to Praise the Great Persons Born of Mt Paektu issued a joint statement supporting the open letter of the Panmunjom Mission of the Korean People's Army;
   The situation around the Demilitarised Zone(DMZ) has reached a critical point as the open letter of the Panmunjom Mission of the KPA states "  The demilitarized zone of the MDL has turned into the biggest hotspot where a fuse of a total war may be ignited any moment". The  KPA Panmunjom Mission refers to the history of the provocation of the the Korean War referring to how the Korean War was preceded by many incursions by the south Korean puppets such as the Mt Songjak invasion.
   Now the south Korean puppets are repeating this history by turning the DMZ into a theatre of anti-DPRK confrontation which could end in the Second Korean War.
     Amongst other things the south Korean fascist puppets are staging their anti-socialist,anti-DPRK "loudspeaker propaganda"for more than 16 hours a day.They are also carrying out leaflet scattering operations.Last year in August 2015 the south Korean puppets nearly brought the situation to war which was narrowly avoided thanks to the peace-loving efforts of the DPRK .
    The Korean people do not need the Military Demarcation Line which is an artificial line dividing the Korean nation,what they need reunification and they need it now.Therefore our organisations support the stand of the Panmunjom mission of the KPA to "to remove the MDL, little different from a time bomb against the north, as early as possible and ensure durable peace and security on the Korean peninsula and achieve the great cause of national reunification." We say that the sooner south Korea is liberated and Korea reunified the better .
