The Association For the Study of Songun Politics UK(ASSPUK), the Juche Idea Study Group of England(JISGE) ,the UK Korean Friendship Association(UK KFA) and the UK Preparatory Committee For the 2017 Gathering to Praise the Great Persons Born of Mt Paektu issued a joint statement of the Committee for the Peaceful Reunification of the Country of the DPRK urging the US to make the
correct option ;
   The Democratic People's Republic of Korea is a nuclear weapons state, an independent nuclear power ,regardless of whether others recognise the fact or not or whether they like it or not .The DPRK 's nuclear deterrent is an objective reality which exists independently of the will of the US.Thus the US should not be taking issue with the recent successful test-fire of the Hwasong 10 rocket.
  The US imperialists have incited the Japanese reactionaries and the south Korean puppets to kick up a most undignified din about the Hwasong 10  test scurrying about demanding more and more sanctions on the DPRK.
   We support the stand of the Committee for the Peaceful Reunification of the Country of the DPRK that the US should face up to the reality of the DPRK's nuclear deterrent and act accordingly. Instead of the complaining about the "threat" of the DPRK's deterrent the US should sit down and negotiate a solution which would involve the withdrawal of US troops from Korea.
    We also support the call for the south Korean puppet to discard their reactionary anti-DPRK stance and enter into meaningful negotiations for reunification.
