The Association For the Study of Songun Politics UK(ASSPUK), the Juche Idea Study Group of England(JISGE) ,the UK Korean Friendship Association(UK KFA) and the UK Preparatory Committee For the 2017 Gathering to Praise the Great Persons Born of Mt Paektu issued a joint statement suppporting the statement made by General Pak Yong Sik ,Minister of the People's Armed Forces of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK):
   Recently the so-called "Shangri la dialogue " was held in Singapore and on the sidelines of this meeting of Asia-Pacific countries, the US imperialists , Japanese militarists and south Korean puppet reactionaries  held their own meeting at which they blustered about sanctions against People's Korea and trying to enforce the one-sided, premature and unilateral disarmement of the DPRK . They also talked about conducting provocative military exercises against the DPRK in July. They slandered the DPRK' self-defensive nuclear deterrent .
    The Minister of People's Armed Forces of the DPRK , general Pak Yong Sik said in his statement that
"It is the height of shamelessness for them to mislead public opinion by terming the DPRK's dignified nuclear force for self-defense and Strategic Force a "threat" even at the international security conference, the statement said, and went on:
    The U.S. is the only nuclear criminal state in the world and the largest nuclear weapons state in the world.
    Japan is a militarist state which is vociferating about a military giant and nuclear weaponization after throwing away even the showy "Pacifist Constitution" and "three non-nuclear principles".
    The south Korean puppet forces are crying out for even "nuclear weaponization to counter the north's nukes", not content with getting frantic with confrontation while conducting Hyonmu missile launching test with the firing range of 800 km they claimed capable of putting all areas of the DPRK in the striking range at the prodding of their masters U.S. and Japan"
  Indeed the DPRK's nuclear deterrent is basically self-defensive and is there to counter threats against  the DPRK's independence and sovereignty.
   We Juche Idea followers, Songun Idea followers and true friends of People's Korea  in the UK fully support this reaffirmation of the basic and principled stand of the DPRK on its nuclear deterrence . The US imperialists , Japanese reactionaries and south Korean puppets must desist from threatening the DPRK !
