Our thanks to Staffordshire KFA who hosted an excellent north Midlands/Staffordshire regional back meeting .
The chairman of Staffordshire KFA chaired the meeting and introduced Dermot Hudson KFA Official Delegate spoke about the recent visit to the Democratic People's Republic of Korea . He said that visiting the DPRK for the 11th time he could see an upsurge in socialist construction , that there was no stagnation or crisis in People's Korea.
He recalled visiting the Fatherland Liberation War Museum, the Jongusung Revolutionary Museum, the Munsu Water Park, the Mangyondae Childrens Palace,KPA Martyrs cemetery , Pyongyang Metro and the International Friendship Exhibition . Referring to the fact that he visited the Pyongchong Revolutionary Site for the first time he explained that DPRK is totally self-reliant, Juche-based and Songun-based was greatly reaffirmed. Some people slander the Korean revolution and Juche by saying that the DPRK a creation of either the Soviet Union or China or both or that socialism in the DPRK is the gift of another country .The DPRK was always self-reliant and independent right from day one after liberation in 1945 whether some people liked the fact or not !
The speaker referred to the visit of the delegation to the Pyongang Mission of the Anti-Imperialist National Democratic front of south Korea and gave an introduction and explanation of the AINDF
A lively Q& A followed . In response to a question about sanctions
Dermot Hudson replied that he could see no effect of sanctions on the DPRK . There were other questions of the role of tourism in the DPRK

and a video introducing Pyongyang were shown.

to send a delegation to the celebrations in 2017.
Referring to anniversary of the work " On Thoroughly Establishing the System of Party Leadership " by Chairman KIM JONG IL
Dermot Hudson said that comrade KIM JONG IL had always opposed bureaucracy. Referring to the work "On Further Improving the Work of Trade Unions " and said that the Juche idea is the idea of the working class and that more effort should be made to disseminate the Juche Idea to workers and trade unionists.
Dermot Hudson conducted an interivew with an indepdent travel journalist and writer.
