The UK Korean Friendship Association today issued a statement on the occasion of the 4th anniversary of the election of dear respected Marshal KIM JONG UN as First Secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea and First Chairman of the National Defence Commission of the DPRK , the highest office of state .
   The election of dear respected Marshal KIM JONG UN to the positions of First Secretary of the WPK and First Chairman of the DPRK NDC were a profound manifestation of  the Korean people's trust and confidence in dear respected Marshal KIM JONG UN .
  Since being elected to these positions  dear respected Marshal KIM JONG UN has tirelessly led the DPRK forward  by giving continuous on-the spot-guidance . The building of socialism in the DPRK has entered a new era of upsurge with the looks of the DPRK changing every day ! This testifies to the correctness of the strong and dynamic leadership  provided by dear respected Marshal KIM JONG UN
