The Juche Idea Study Group of England
together with the ASSPUK and UK KFA held a remarkably successful meeting
on the 2nd of April to celebrate the Day of the Sun, the 104th birth
anniversary of the great leader President KIM IL SUNG and other keynote
DPRK anniversaries as well to express total solidarity with the DPRK .
The meeting was held in the Chadswell Centre Central London and attended
by members of the Juche Idea Study Group of England , UK KFA and the
ASSPUK , Also members of the New Communist Party , RCPBML and CPGBML
.The meeting was honoured by the presence of representatives of the DPRK
Embassy in London.
Chairman Dermot Hudson opened the meeting
saying that the Day of the Sun is aa jubilee common to the Korean people
and world progressive people. The month of April will also see many
other important DPRK anniversaries such as the anniversary of the
foundation of the KPA and the anniversary of the election of dear
respected Marshal KIM JONG UN as First Secretary of the Workers' Party
of Korea and First Chairman of the National Defence Commission of the
DPRK . Moreover it was very important to show solidarity with People's
Korea against US imperialism.
Chairman Dermot Hudson spoke on the
life and revolutionary activities of the great leader President KIM IL
SUNG "Comrade Kim Il Sung is the father of the Korean nation, the
builder of socialist Korea. During a life spanning more than 80 years he
created a new history carving out the destiny of the nation and
performed immortal exploits which will go down in the annals of the era
of independence. Under his superb leadership, the Korean people
brightened the 20th century with victory and glory. Comrade Kim Il Sung
led two severe revolutionary wars to victory becoming known as the ever
victorious iron willed brilliant commander and gifted military
strategist. He led two complex social revolutions and built an
independent socialist country with an advanced socialist system centred
upon the popular masses which is the cradle of life for the Korean
people.
The great leader President KIM IL SUNG was not born in a
mansion or a palace but in a simple straw thatched house in Mangyondae ,
though he was a statesman of worldwide fame .President KIM IL SUNG was a
great thinker and theoretician, who was the author 10,800 different
works over a period of 7 decades, on annual average he wrote 170 works
or 1 work every 2 and half days. About 24 million copies of his works
have been published in 60 different languages in a total of 110
countries."
Next Shaun Pickford secretary general of the JISGE and
head of Staffordshire KFA spoke on the importance of the Juche Idea .
He said that distortions of the Juche Idea should be rejected firmly ,
the Juche idea was not Maoism, it was not an application or extension of
Marxism-Leninism nor was it nationalism or simple self-reliance . The
Juche Idea is a great revolutionary ideology aimed at realising the
independence of the popular masses. It is based on the central concept
that man is the master. All over the world there are Juche Idea Study
Groups.
Daphne Liddle joint editor of the New Worker and member CC
New Communist Party brought greetings from the New Communist Party and
praised the great leader comrade KIM IL SUNG as a great communist
fighter.
Alexander Meads spoke about the 84th anniversary of the
foundation of the Korean People's Army . He said that the KPA was formed
in 1932 as the anti-Japanese People's Guerrilla Army . The KPA is
based on the Juche military theory that soldiers decide the outcome of
war not weapons. The KPA is able to fight 4 dimensional warfare . It is
superior to capitalist armies because its officers are promoted on the
basis of merit but in capitalist armies class and wealth are the
determinants of promotion . Led by Marshal KIM JONG UN the KPA will
win.
Chairman Dermot Hudson said that " The truth of Songun was
first realised by the President KIM IL SUNG . He recognised that Korea’s
independence could not be obtained by peaceful means. Many Korean
people tried to obtain independence by peaceful means such as petitions,
strikes or even appeals to the goodwill of big powers. All these
failed. The Japanese imperialists imposed the most violent colonial rule
over Korea, the rule of the bayonet and the sword. President KIM IL
SUNG realised that violence must be countered with violence. President
KIM IL SUNG was handed 2 pistols that were bequeathed to him by his late
father Mr KIM HYONG JIK . At a series of historic meetings President
KIM IL SUNG put forward the line that the revolution is advanced and
defended by arms"
Chairman Dermot Hudson also referred to the 4th
anniversary of the election of dear respected Marshal KIM JONG UN as
First Secretary of the WPK and First Chairman of the NDC of the DPRK
saying that " As First Secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea dear
respected Marshal Kim Jong Un has led the struggle to consolidate the
monolithic unity of the WPK, to model it on Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism
and defeated the anti-party counter-revolutionary factionalists . Now
dear respected Marshal Kim Jong Un is now leading the struggle to
implement to the letter Kim Jong Il's behests without an inch of
deflection and without a step of concession.
As the First
Chairman of the National Defence Commission of the DPRK dear respected
Marshal Kim Jong Un has put forward and implemented the great line of
building the economy and nuclear force simultaneously. Respected Marshal
Kim Jong Un has also stressed the need for self-development and
self-reliance thus rejecting imperialist slavery and is leading People's
Korea along the path of militant anti-imperialism."
Dermot Hudson also referred to the vitality of the twin line of building the economy and nuclear force in parallel.
James Taylor UK KFA and JISGE member read out the statement of the
AINDF "Fix it in your memory " saying " the UNSC has been set up not for
the security of the world, but for the sanctions on the DPRK.
Due
to the tyrannies of the US and dominationists, throughout the world, the
security has been under consistent threat and the people have been
shedding bitter tears. However, the UNSC has passed its time idly
overlooking the miserable situation of the world and run amuck like
junkies when the DPRK has made marvelous successes.
The reason why
is that, the US and the big dummies have resided at the UNSC constantly.
They know that the developments of the righteous DPRK demolish their
sinful high-handedness.
They should rivet it in their memory."
David Munoz UK KFA member said that "We are here to celebrate the 104th birthday of the Great Leader comrade Kim Il Sung.
I congratulate the Korean people for the Day of the Sun in these
difficult months against the imperialist aggression to defend the
sovereignty and socialism
Also I send a big salute to the great Korean People's Army founded by the Great Leader comrade Kim Il Sung 84 years ago.
The most important task of the Korean People's Army is raise the banner of Songun and the defense of socialism.
I applaud the great military scientific advances in recent months
especially H Bomb test and new satellite Kwangmyongsong-4. as a symbol
of progress, independence and development.
Daniel Braggins KFA member and JUCHE REVOLUTION channel said that the constant lies of the imperialist media must be exposed.
Comrade Thae Yong Ho Minister Counsellor of the DPRK Embassy denounced
the war provocation exercises Foal Eagle and Key Resolve of the US
imperialist and south Korean puppets pointing out that these were much
bigger in scale than the former NATO exercises and that the exercises
included beach landings. Worse still so -called beheading operations
were carried out and there was a mock strike on the HQ building of the
Workers' Party of Korea.
The meeting was then shown the documentary
"Kim Jong Un Guides Large-scale Intensive Striking Drill of Long-range
Artillery Pieces" The meeting applauded the documentary . Chairman
Dermot Hudson said that the ASSPUK, JISGE and UK KFA fully support the
liberation of south Korea , the destruction of the hated south Korean
puppet ruling machines and the reunification of Korea.
A message to dear respected Marshal KIM JONG UN was adopted.
There was an exhibition of DPRK publications and the works of President KIM IL SUNG , chairman KIM JONG IL and Marshal
KIM JONG UN .
The books Songun International 1 and 2 and KIM JONG UN his love for
the people poltics " were displayed and introduced . Participants had
their pictures taken with copies of the books.
Refreshments were served .
A KFA Cultural Evening was held at which the popular DPRK counter-espionage film "The Case Is Closed " was shown
