History Society of DPRK Asserts Nullification of Japan-S. Korea "Agreement" on Issue of Sexual Slavery

Pyongyang, February 6 (KCNA) -- At the end of last year, the Japanese and south Korean ruling forces held a meeting of foreign ministers in Seoul in which they reached an "agreement" on the "final and irreversible settlement" of the issue of the sexual slavery for the Imperial Japanese Army.
A spokesman for the History Society of the DPRK issued a statement on Saturday in denunciation of the foolish acts of the Japanese and south Korean ruling forces which fabricated the "agreement" and the U.S. which wire-pulled it.
The statement said that the sexual slavery for the Imperial Japanese Army can never be concealed with ease as it is the worst abuse of women's rights and heinous war crimes in which the Japanese imperialists forced the sexual slavery upon 200 000 Korean women in battle sites of wars of aggression by setting in motion the state power in the past time and mercilessly killed most of them.
    It went on:
The "agreement" on the issue of the sexual slavery for the Imperial Japanese Army fabricated by the U.S., Japanese and south Korean ruling forces in collusion is null and void and can never be tolerated.
The historians of the DPRK will settle accounts with Japan, sworn enemy of the Korean people who insulted again the hundreds of thousands of victims of the sexual slavery, and the puppet group of traitors to the end and will further boost the joint action and solidarity activities with the south Korean and world progressive historians for a probe into the truth about the crimes related to sexual slavery by the Japanese imperialists and the proper settlement of the issue on sexual slavery in the future.
The sexual slavery for the Imperial Japanese Army is hideous one against humanity to which no statute of limitations is applicable and Japan's history of crimes can never be concealed with anything. -0-
